Executive Director: Rebecca Richmond – director@ncln.ca

Rebecca was raised in the Ottawa Valley in a family that taught her the value of every human life and the importance of standing up for the truth.  Rebecca studied International Relations and languages at the University of Ottawa and was a founding member of uOttawa Students For Life as well as the club’s first Secretary.  The next fall she stepped up to be the club’s President, a position she held the following year as well.  Rebecca also began to make a name for herself within the city’s pro-life community, but her primary passion was sharing the pro-life message at the University.  She stepped into the role as Executive Director of NCLN in June of 2010, and is thrilled to carry on NCLN’s life-saving work.

Campus Coordinators

Western Canada: Anastasia Pearse: westerncanada@ncln.ca

It wasn’t until Anastasia encountered strong opposition to her pro-life beliefs at university that she truly came to understand the vital importance of the cause and the necessity of actively furthering it. During her five years at the University of Victoria Anastasia was involved in her pro-life club, Youth Protecting Youth. As president she worked hard to maintain the club’s status amidst strong pro-choice opposition from their student’s society. Through her perseverance and support from both club members and NCLN, Anastasia succeeded in keeping a vibrant pro-life presence on campus. Her degree in Recreation and Health Education has given her invaluable experience working with seniors and people with disabilities. She has seen how all people have inherent value and beauty, regardless of age or ability. She is excited to be working for NCLN and looks forward to using her experiences to help pro-life clubs share this life-affirming message.

Eastern Canada: Sara Hall – maritimes@ncln.ca

Sara’s passion for the unborn began at a young age. She spent time participating in various pro-life events in her area such as raising money for local crisis pregnancy centers. As she got older she spread the pro-life message at youth groups and eventually on her college campus. Her involvement with the NCLN began after she heard a presentation given by Theresa Gilbert, the Executive Director at that time. Shortly after Sara was hired as a part-time staff member in June 2009. She currently works with NCLN as the Maritime Coordinator based in Saint John, New Brunswick, continuing to educate pro-life students in the Atlantic provinces.
