Go Life: U of A Campus Pro-Life: Welcome Back!

Welcome back everyone for the start of a new year! We have several fun and exciting events planned this term.

Come check us out this week at clubs fair. We will be in the Butterdome on Monday and Tuesday and in Quad on Wednesday. We wil also be holding a social and BBQ on Wednesday at 5:00pm in Arts Quad, so drop by to hang out. Btw, there will be free food!

Go Life: U of A Campus Pro-Life: Lifeweek 2011, March 14-18

Go Life’s third annual Lifeweek is a week away and we have some amazing events planned. Check out the schedule below: 
 
Monday March 14- Cemetery of the Unborn, Quad, 9am to 4pm
Synopsis: Everyday, 300 abortions happen in Canada. We will be putting up 300 white crosses as a silent witness to the lives lost to abortion.
Tuesday March 15- Silent No More Awareness Campaign Canada, SUBstage, 12-1pm
Synopsis: Real testimonies from women who have chosen abortion and regret their choice.
Wednesday March 16- Screening of Film “Precious”, ED 106, 7pm
Synopsis: A film adaptation of the novel Push.
Thursday March 17 -Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide: Arguments for and Against, and a Christian Response, Prof. Paul Flaman, CEB 2-31, 4pm
Synopsis: The talk will examine the issues of Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide
Friday March 18- Pregnancy Fair, SUB, 10am-2pm
Synopsis: Stop by SUB to check out some of the organisations and resources available for those facing a crisis pregnancy

Go Life: U of A Campus Pro-Life: Speaker Event this Friday!

Hello everyone!

This Friday, October 22nd 2010, Go Life will be having its first speaker event of the year! Amanda Gaudet will be coming to speak to Go Life in Room 1 6 of the Business Building on campus at 6pm. The Back Porch is located across the street from the Edmonton abortion clinic and does amazing work assisting and supporting those considering or suffering from abortion. We hope to see you all there to hear Amanda this Friday, it is a great opportunity to learn more about pro-life work in Edmonton.

Go Life: U of A Campus Pro-Life: First Club Meeting of the Year

Come out this Monday, September 20th 2010, at 5:15pm to Go Life’s first club meeting of the year. Meet all of our wonderful members, learn more about Go Life and the pro-life position, and hear about all the exciting plans for this coming year! We will be meeting in Room 420 in SUB.  Also this coming Friday will be our first SUB table of the year so you can sign up for a time slot at the meeting or through email once the table has been booked. I hope to see you all on Monday!

Go Life: U of A Campus Pro-Life: Kick Off BBQ

Go Life is hosting a free BBQ to start off what I hope will be a great year for getting out on campus and spreading information about the life issues. Come on out and meet the rest of the group and enjoy the last of what summer has to offer.

A free BBQ (bring a soccer ball or frisbee if you can)

We will be meeting at Emily Murphy park in the shelter (site #1) map to Emily Murphy
